Miracle Offering 2006 raises $30000+ |

Sunday March the 26th 2006 saw our first ever Miracle Offering of the new melennium, and sets the exciting starting point of us as a Church actively setting aside money towards our future. Total given on the day: $32,062 - praise the Lord. We believe God has given us a mandate to grow His Church in this city, and to continue to find new ways of honouring God amongst the growing generations of this city who barely know His name. There are many ways this may take shape over the coming years, but expected at some stage in the not too distant future and already some times required, are new facilities to enable us to achieve the things set before us. Thanks heaps to all who gave and love God’s house! |

CompactCommunities Community Assignment |

 The Community Assignment projects being facilitated through our CompactCommunity groups simply aims to connect the love of Christ with our community around us through practical means.
 On Sunday 19th of March, each CompactCommunity group was given $100 as a starting point to inspire them to think about what could be achieved. As seen in other churches who have run this, this money is often miraculously multiplied and stretched to many thousands of dollars to help meet the needs targeted by the groups involved. We expect in some measure that the same will happen in PCC as we look to share Christ’s love with our community.

Where Tragedy and Generosity meet |

Tragically in February 2006, we heard the sad news that a worker at our local waste recycling and refuse transfer station was mamed for life by in an industrial accident, losing two legs and an arm, and nearly dieing. Wonderfully, in a response to this, the the people of Park City raised in excess of $1400!!! With the addition of IOUs and a top up from PCC, we will be able to pass on to this man and his family $2000. Furthermore, a trust is being setup to assist the family in the future. |

Pursuit of Excellence 2005 |

Wow, what can I say about this conference. It was a mind-blowing time that really instilled a sense of God’s purpose in me for our church, our awesome leaders, Carey and Janine, our church family and the people in our community. The conference was hosted by Pastors Paul and Maree De Jong of Christian Life Centre, Auckland along with their staff and hundreds of volunteers. |
